Walk in the footsteps of monks, poets and writers, plus a highly regarded courtier of both Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, to explore this important site.
Our guide, Geoff, will explain how the scene changed to the one we see today. Ground is largely uneven and there are some short steps. Limited parking on site; main parking is Abbey Hall free car park, a short walk away at the end of Grange Road.
Note that this walk is on a Saturday at 11am. All proceeds will be donated to Cancer Research UK in
memory of our late colleague, Fiona Kennedy.
