Join our guide, Geoff, for a visit to the military cemetery at Royal Victoria Country Park, in advance of Remembrance Sunday, to hear the stories of some of those buried there who died at the former hospital. The walks will include a short stop at the Cross of Sacrifice for
reflection.
All income from the walk will be passed to the Royal British Legion as a donation for this year’s Poppy Appeal.
The walk is mostly on the flat, but there are slopes within the cemetery. Please bring some drinking water, and note that car parking charges apply inside the Royal Victoria Country Park.
Note that this walk is on a Saturday at 11am. It will be repeated the following day so that as many people as possible have the opportunity to attend.
